As a consumer, I like to get to the point when I am on a business’s website. I feel that the quicker the experience, the more likely I am to buy a product or service from that business.

Furthermore, it is no surprise that chatbots are becoming more and more valuable as time goes on. The survey also stated that the top benefits of a chatbot are as follows: 24-hour service (64 percent), instant responses to inquiries (55 percent) and answers to simple questions (55 percent). Humans need to sleep and when a page has a late night visitor, a chatbot will be there to greet the visitor and help with any general questions or issues without needing an employee to stay up all hours of the night to track their site.

Chatbots are also a useful marketing tactic to draw a potential customer onto one’s website. Consumers are slowly getting lazier and lazier with their shopping habits. What consumers really strive for is a fast and easy process while on a businesses site. I too can attest to this. I would rather talk to a chatbot than a real person because it feels less sales-y and I feel that the point will be reached faster than if I was talking to another person. This is why chatbots can make for such great marketing tools!

Another way chatbots can be utilized as a marketing tool is by gathering data from your consumers. From chatbots, you will be able to find out what people are buying and the most comment question or concern that your buyers have. This is extremely important in a business and opens a line of communication for love and constructive criticism.
