Three Innovative Tech Gadgets to Look Out For

  1. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Lenovo strung inspiration from Samsung’s foldable phone into a functional foldable laptop. This laptop features a mini keyboard attachment that folds into the laptop and a full touch screen laptop. The OLED screen is 13.3 inches long and is planned to be released sometime this year. To me, this sounds like it is just a really big tablet. However, it being a laptop means more RAM, more memory, and more possibilities. This type of laptop also looks like it would come with a stylus of some kind to draw graphs, pictures, or demonstrate theory to an audience. One cannot deny that this is an innovative product. However, I am not quite sure how practical this product is. I would be constantly worried about the fragility of this laptop. Laptop screens can be fragile, now imagine an entire laptop being the screen!

2. Hydraloop

This big piece of metal meets more than the initial eye. The Hydraloop recycles and cleanses 85% of water utilized in the household. This includes water from showers, dishes, laundry, or whatever you utilize water for in your household! Overall, this idea is fantastic for someone who wants to recycle their water! Though the cost may seem expensive ($4,000 to be exact), it really isn’t when you think about how much water you are reusing again for household purposes. This is a fantastic product in my opinion. If I had the money, I would purchase this machine. According to Hydroloop’s video, they are low maintenance. This was my first initial con is the maintenance cost. However, I think that with time we will find out if it really is low maintenance or if this is just a piece of metal that takes up space. Finally, I do think that this is a product to check out if you are looking to save money on your water bill in the end! Pre-orders are now available on hydroloop.com!

3. TOWNEW’s self-cleaning, self-changing trash can

Okay, now listen, I know I sound crazy adding a cool trash can to the list but hear me out! This would be lifesaving in a time crunch or for a stay-at-home parent. With a push of a button, this trash can, self-seals, then self-changes itself. Thus, creating the amount of work to a minimum. Though I am not a stay-at-home parent, I would still LOVE this trashcan in my house, and for only $119, it’s not to bad. However, one con is how small the trash can is. At this time, the only available size is 4 gallons. This is not nearly enough for a kitchen space but rather, seems better suited to a bathroom or a nursey. Which would then not make it nearly as justified for the price point. However, this is just a leaping point and hopefully, this company comes out with bigger sizes soon for the kitchen and other areas of the house!
